Richard Okiuye is President and leads company operations at Leftwich Event Specialists. He brings more than 20 years of event management experience in the corporate, non-profit and government sectors for entities including Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Up With People International, State of California Courts and the White House traveling with these events to 16 countries and 49 states.

Most recently, Richard was a Senior Event Manager and Client Services Account Executive at George P. Johnson where he managed more than 30 events in an 8 year span ranging from board and executive meetings to user conferences, partnering and sales conventions for 1,500 – 6,000 attendees.

Previously, he developed and sold multiple exhibition shows and citywide conventions for Biotechnology Industry Organization, the largest worldwide biotechnology trade association. 

Richard always goes the distance. Outside of work, Richard volunteers for numerous charities and participates in the AIDS Lifecycle fundraiser, a 570 mile annual ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
